Bug Keyboard input in Asset Store (5.3)

First of all, I get the following error message in the console in a new project:
kLargestEditorClassID == ms_MaxClassID

Now to the main problem: When I try to type something into the search bar in the asset store (tried it docked & undocked=floating) the actual Editor responds to the key presses (switching from hand to rotate mode etc).
So because of this I can't search anything in the asset store.

 

where you able to login? i mean submit your credentials?
on 5.2 that was an issue.

Any other issues beside that? I want to upgrade but i am still in 5.1 as is the only one working just fine for me.

 

5.1 is the most stable one indeed.
On 5.3 i am unable to add any component to any object. The comonents list is just empty.

 

Well, I can add components just fine, but I noticed that the asset store performs the same way for me as well. I also get that vague kLargestEditorClassID == ms_MaxClassID issue

 

Any way to run both versions? i mean 5.1 as Prod and 5.3 for testing? 5.3 has to many new features we are missing from 5.1

I have notice in 5.1 that if you cant drag n drop you just need to change the layout, i switch to 4split which always work to add items.

Still a problem in 5.4; cannot enter text in the asset store search box. Cannot enter text in the dialog box for login, either, so cannot log in and cannot import from Asset Store.
