    It looks indeed so cool.
On one hand I am happy that big money from Take-Two are pouring in.
But on other hand (worryingly), I can see, where this once amazing game can turn into (A bit of my skepticism).

  3. Finally, another EGS exclusive! Who would thought...

Yeah but seriously, how often do you encounter a game where physics needs to be precise out to 10 AU, across timescales between 1 and 1,000,000?

There isn't a physics engine in existence that does this. Even NASA doesn't attempt this level of simulation when they send actual probes to distant planets.

Yeah. I just hope there indeed can build something bigger than few dozens of components, before PC goes into halt.
Building functional space station without lag, would be indeed cool.

I'm already slightly concerned regarding the wording they use.

    Q: Will KSP2 have microtransactions?

A: Kerbal Space Program 2 will not have a purchasable in-game currency or lootboxes. A multitude of microtransactions has never been part of Kerbal and we are not bringing it to KSP2.

"Kerbal Space Program 2 will not have a purchasable in-game currency or lootboxes" feels like they are trying to dodge the question and say yes without having to actually say yes... otherwise why not just explicitly state 'KS2 will not have any microtransactions."

Q: Will this be an exclusive to epic games store?
A: At launch, Kerbal Space program 2 will be released on Steam and other digital storefronts, as well as Xbox marketplace and Playstation store.

Again, call me cynical, but all sorts of red flags go off for me when people don't answer "yes or no" questions with yes or no. What does "at launch" mean? if it comes out as an exclusive to EGS but in early access does that mean they didn't lie? why not explicitly say "no, we have no plans to make KSP2 exclusive to the EGS."

What you're seeing is merely the result of having the answers passed through a legal department before being released.

  10. Yes, it is very important to not to promise anything.

Or possibly just engineering tech speak. Being precise is important. And many words like micro transactions aren't super precise.

For example on micro transactions its almost certain the game will be open to paid mods and skins via the workshop. Do these count as micro transactions? There will also almost certainly be a paid DLC/expansion at some point too. A small enough DLC can be considered a micro transaction.

    Yesterday, we blew up rockets.
Tomorrow, we blow up rockets with ray-tracing.

I'll wait until multiplayer is fully revealed/described.
