    Hi all,

We have a side-project we are working on called Kazap (www.kazap.io).

The purpose of the game is typical for an IO game: Collect and grow. However, we have balanced our so that even when you are small, you can be quite dangerous. It is a game about reflexes and speed.

We are just getting it tested out, and have it set up mainly for a best experience in North America. We are looking for a bit of feedback on it. Let us know what the load times are like, the lag, and any other little issues you see. If it is slow to load or lags, please let us know what country you are in.

As with all Unity WebGL games, use Chrome or Firefox. Edge won't work (well). Safari is iffy too.

    Thanks a bunch!

Control is too hard and unexpected for me, map is small, canvas could be full-screen like the io games, and why don't you use the mouse for shooting and flying and so on? I mean, the Mouse is perfect for Shooting games, and on the other hand, pressing 3+ games on windows might not work as expected :)

    Good luck with the game!

I agree, clicking for shooting is much better. Can't rotate and shoot at the same time (or rather, it's more difficult). I'd recommend moving the mouse to rotate and click to shoot like most other games of this type.

Thanks a bunch for trying it!

We went with tank controls like older games - Star Control 2 was one of my favorites back in the day. This game controls much like it.

Also, there are 5 buttons: Forward, backwards, shoot, break, and boost, so mouse could only do 2 of those, though we could try using the mouse for rotate, shoot, and forwards.

I have a different question, how were the load times? Did the game load slowly for anyone?

The game did load a bit slow for me, but definitely still ok!

We are putting up an update today. Hopefully it will help the game load faster. The only problem using Unity to do this is it generates about 10 MB of data. Also, when the update goes up, it will have global servers.

Worked fine on Edge for me, little jerky and quite hard to control through, I think just adding some medium dampening to the rotation would be good as I quite often found myself spinning in a circle! :(

Did you try in Chrome? The rotation is quick when you are small, however you need it so that you can maneuver in on the big guys. You can also use Z while turning to do fine movements.

Yeah, it's a bit hardcore for a .io, we figured we would try it ;)
