This is my progress of making an infinite open world game similar to stardew valley. I originally wanted a more horror type approach when I first began, but as time went on I didn't want the game to be like that. I spent probably 10-15 days making the first game. It was 100% infinite, but the worlds were very boring. After a month or two of not working on the game, I randomly decided to scrap the entire thing and rebuild it from the bottom up. I used what I learned in the first iteration to build the second game even faster. Now the game has music, an infinite and unique tile world made from perlin noise, and far better graphics. I have been working on the second iteration of the game for about 2 months now throwing in a few hours here and there to add more to it. I'm happy with where it is going now and I am planning on finishing the game in the near future. Here is a video of the before and after builds of the games. The second build is far better and I am continuing development of the game still. Any feedback about the game would be nice, like what to add or what to improve on. I just started learning unity this year, and I feel I have come a long way since I began, but I also have much to improve upon.
