    Hi all:
    I just installed 4.6 beta 18 today Sept. 8, 2014.
    Runs great and loads fast!

    2 Issues I faced:
    1. I installed it right over the old Unity3d 4.6 beta 17. Big mistake. I should have known better. It would not load up and run at all. i tried everything. Nope...but alas...
    2. I uninstalled 100% all Unity files files completely and I made sure of it using Mackeeper's smart uninstall feature.
    3. Installed fresh Unity3d 4.6 beta 18.
    4. Put in my pro license again.
    5. Loads fast now and runs great.

    My system specs are:
Macbookpro 2011 (yes, I don;t have the OpenCl drivers...ughhh...can't use FacePlus because of this!)
    OSX 10.9.4
    Unity3d Pro 4.6 Beta 18
    16 GB RAM
Java latest version 7 update 67

I'm planning to update another machine soon so that I can use the latest OpenCL features for Mixamo's stuff.

I thought I'd write up a small note of my experience for 4.6 beta 18 for all.
    Thnx

I've installed various 4.6 betas on top of existing betas with no issue (Mac Pro, 10.9.4). In fact I've always installed betas over existing betas for pretty much every Unity version back to 3.something with no issues. So I would guess some kind of unique glitch, congrats. ;)

Yeah, just installed it. It loaded my project alot faster than b17. I would guess it shaved a good 3 to 4 seconds. Doesn't seem like much, but it is, when you're staring at the screen.
