Just bought Unity Plus, how do I claim the accelerator and essentials package?

    Seems like we are all in the same boat here. I'm thinking we make this thread more positive while we all practice our patience.
    Which essentials pack to you plan on choosing and how will it help with your current project?

    I'm making a multiplayer arena based game and I really like the look of Octave3D. I had planned to build my arenas modular and this looks like it will really speed up the process! So I will be choosing the Art & Design pack.

    3) Nothing is wrong, there is no problem, it took them longer than planned to get the deals setup and the “choose a package” system working well enough to not need someone manually scanning through for tens of thousands of customer responses. And then they ran into the long holiday weekend (in the US) where the guy in charge of emails took the week off, since it was only really 3 days off after the holiday.

    And they don’t want to announce anything because that would shame Bob, the email guy (and with Bob off in the Australian outback, who would send the email announcement anyways?)

    4) Treasury issue: they will need a lot of cash to pay the developers of each asset.
    So they are waiting for some cash-in (monthly subscriptions?) before sending the codes.

    I think the lack of communication is really poor. Posting on twitter is one thing, but not all of us use it.

    I'm sure we all would have appreciated an email and some indication on the cause of the delay.

    As another member stated, these are not physical goods that need delivering. So any delay is frankly unacceptable.

    I'm sure Unity would not be as patient with us if our Subscription payments were 'delayed' without any communication.

    They aren't posting it on Twitter either really. Only in replies to some of the posts on the subject they mentioned in. Click the link to see the posts people will see if they aren't following Unity and the person tweeting to them/ being replied to.

    Nothing on there about the deal.

    This is the first time I've ever had any issues with Unity when it comes to communication and it's really left a bad taste in my mouth since I've received 8 emails from their lists since the 30th and it wouldn't have been hard to put one out about the Essentials pack issue.

    yeah got my email... now they say allow up to another 2 days to actually receive it. COME ON UNITY! WTF!

    I am starting to think any assets are not compatible with Unity 2017.x versions and they are trying to solve it....

    Don't stress. Unity said earlier they were being sent out in waves. At least one person in this thread has had theirs. No idea how they are grouping the mails but if it's by order date then I'm well down. I didn't order until the 30th.

    Samehere mate. I'm seriously F***ed off with the lack of communication from Unity, I've had about 5 emails in the last 6 or so days and all have been for complete bollox that I don't care about.

    1. Why the F*** do I have to go looking through your forums to find answers.
    2. Why the F*** would you be lazy c***s and send out a tweet when most people don't bother using that S*** instead of a mass email.

    F***ing sort it out Unity.

    This is really nice.
    I never know when I'm subscribing to Unity Plus, they will include me in an anger management class and teach me to be more patience.

    lol, that did make me chuckle. I'm just pissed off that there's been no contact what so ever but yeah...I wouldn't recommend subbing..

    P.S This isn't a dig in anyway but in that sentence it would be "patient". But yes I should have more patience.....but I really want to add some fog into my game lol

    Great news! I'm glad Unity are finally doing something about this (still if Unity didn't want a bad reaction, courtesy can go along way sometimes). Good luck with your new assets :)

    Choose from VR, Mobile, 2D, and Art & Design.

    Same options.
    They just let us choose again.

    Quick question.
    What would happen to my account if I cancel my sub after getting the assets? Would I still be able to use it and all the assets (not just including these free ones)? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's annoyed by Unitys incompetence.

    Hey guys,
    I think the latest email send is just another delay tactic from Unity.
    I got an email earlier today to choose the package.
    After click the "Select your pack now"
    It bring me to this page.


    after select


    So?

    I've submit my choice 6 hours ago and I haven't got my keys yet.

    I think this is just another tactic to buy them more times.
    Today is already Friday. so 2 business days mean the earliest they can send is Wednesday next week.

    I don't think anyone got the package yet.

    You'll keep the assets, but be aware that the subscription is yearly. Even if you decided to pay monthly, it has a 1-year commitment.

    I know it's a contract and everything but that doesn't mean they can treat us this way. Why should I give them my money if they can't even send me an email to say "sorry we F***ed up, we'll get them to you asap". This is a dick move from Unity and honestly I expected better, I almost feel like I've subbed to EA.

    If you signed up as an individual in the EU you could cancel at any time up to seven days after the assets have been delivered if you signed up after they got added to the pack under distance selling regs.

    I'm not a lawyer etc. but for people who are looking for a way out that might be it for some folks.

    Awesome you legend mate, I think everyone should do this. Unity should suffer for their consequences of their non actions.
