Just bought Unity Plus, how do I claim the accelerator and essentials package?

    as of today at 6:30 am July 3rd, i have still not gotten an email. my guess would be they roll out monday.
    Just hoping for the best.

    Let’s not forget that it was a weekend so of course nothing happened. And if this is being handled by their US office in San Francisco, don’t expect anything to happen until Wednesday July 5, as July 4 is a US holiday so many tech companies are closed Monday and Tuesday to give their employees a long weekend. And even if they are open on Monday, San Francisco business hours don’t even begin for another 4-5 hours from now.

    Hi there,

    Thank you so much for reaching us, I will be more than happy to help you with your questions about our Essential Pack!

    You will receive an email shortly regarding how to redeem your Essentials Pack.

    Having checked my system, I could see that we are presenting a delay due to the high number of users that are purchasing subscriptions. We're expecting to send the vouchers in a couple of days, an estimated day is on July 5th.

    When you receive this email, you will need to login to the Unity account to which your subscription is attached (This offer is applied for subscriptions that were purchased before May 31st ). You will then be able to select one Essentials Pack that you would like! Once you have selected this pack, you will receive an email with a voucher code. Please allow up to 48 hours (business days) for the voucher codes to be sent.

    We apologize for any inconvenience, I appreciate your patience and understanding with this matter.

    I wanted to work on the UI for my VR Game tonight but noooooo ... been waiting forever for it and still nothing. 10:20pm here

    I think it has to do with compatibility with the upcoming versions of Unity, both editor, engine and services.

    nope that has nothing to do with it... they are just late for some reason but it has nothing to do with the compatibility like version 2017 or any other version for that matter...

    I haven't received an email yet.

    This is getting really ridiculous. Yes, unforeseen events happen, and it's unreasonable to expect everything to work 100% correctly, but that's not the problem. The issue is a lack of transparency -- I should have at least received an email telling me that the vouchers will be issued late along with an ETA (and as a bonus, an explanation), but I haven't. I initially thought I missed a deadline for the voucher or got scammed because I was left in the dark, and I double checked the purchase email to ensure I initially read the terms correctly. I don't use Twitter, so I didn't notice Unity's announcement, and I had to prowl the forums (which again, I don't use) for awhile to find this. Why do I have to seek answers and explanations to Unity's mistakes, when Unity could so easily send them to me (via email)?

    I seriously hope this is a one-off thing and not a symptom of a bigger problem

    If anyone has received the email, PLEASE let me know. I just realised my old email is broken and just changed the new email today, not sure that the pack will go to which one

    At least I'm still waiting for it, and according to the tweet DudeItsMarck mentioned (https://twitter.com/unity3d/status/882711104127811584), I would assume it will still take a while and much of our patience :(

    Yes, I was thinking the same. The "more info" sounds like that now we are waiting for an email message from them where they will inform us that we will need to wait for awhile before we will receive the packs.

    I hope I am not the only one who has been checking my email every 10 mins for the past few days if I have received the essential pack email and it is frankly getting quite annoying. :D

    From my point of view the real problem cannot be the high demand. Essential pack is not something physical or consumable. If it really was 'the real problem' at least they could have delivered it yesterday as planned.

    Also I am quite sure they did not miss by forgetting the original date (30th of June - especially when there is a high demand) and they are aware of this forum thread from the beginning.

    So not making any official announcement shows:

    1) they have a problem that they do not want to share with public. This can be either legal base or a technical problem. They think sharing this problem with public causes disappointment and lack of confidence on users side.

    2) they have a problem that they do not even know whether they will be able to solve it. This can be a technical problem or a disagreement with asset owners. So they do not want to determine a second official release date they might miss (Remember they had even told us "by 30th June" not "30th of June" ) I am sure they are trying to solve this by working day and night and if they cannot, they will try to figure out another way to apologize from us.

    So I dont know which way would be better.
