Just bought Unity Plus, how do I claim the accelerator and essentials package?

So there is this new offer where if you get a unity plus subscription before the end of May you will get a whole bunch of assets for free. I just git a subscription, now how do I get the assets?

 

From the FAQ section...

'We will send you an email within 24 hours of your purchase containing voucher codes that will allow you to unlock and download your Accelerator Pack assets. Please email Unity Support if you do not receive this email.

I received the Accelerator Pack with the hello mail within a day, but about the Essentials Pack it just said
"Assets Available Soon: Essentials Pack (available to select and redeem June 30, 2017)".
since that I haven't received any mail, is there something more to do ?

 

I have the same question - Where is the Essential Pack? Where to download that?

 

They will send an email before June 30 for people to choose their Essentials pack.

 

Ok, I thought they meant that it must be claimed before 30/06, wait so long didn't make much sense. I'll keep waiting then.

Hey @spotdot2, I am glad we are on the same boat.. Have been waiting since morning and imagining bad scenarios like Unity officials tell us "sorry folks, we had a disagreement with asset owners, we cannot do it.."
I haven't seen any thread about essentials pack other than this, which pack will you guys pick ?

 

well I'm in the Netherlands and it is 16:08 at the moment so I still have some hours left
but to be honest I don't think they deliver (in time)

 

Also wondering about this! Nice to see a bit of activity on it at least.

I asked on Twitter this morning and haven't had a response there yet either.

 

Well I'm canceling my Plus account so maybe that's the reason I get nothing
I have already bought for thousands of euros in the asset store and my PLUS Account so it would be nice to get something really free!

 

Nothing yet...I hope we will receive that essential pack :-D

 

My work just got emails about the Essentials Pack, so the emails must be rolling out today.

Wish they had at least announced something. This is quite disappointing.

 

I feel like they actually forgot it..

 

The 2D essentials pack was the reason behind my subscription actually.
I was waiting for it like a 10 yo child before christmas, hope it'll deliver soon

I'm sure they haven't forgot about us, remember Unite Europe just happened and Unity 2017 is releasing in July. They may be busy at the moment but it is all for us, a little patience goes along way.

 

Of course they didn't, but still they should announce anything soon.

 

California is still waiting, no news... the 2d pack is what got my eye too.

 

the 2D pack looked very promising and the last asset wasn't even know at this point

 

I'm just hoping we get it sometime today. they must be pretty busy

I'm gonna start:
2D Pack:
I was thinking about a super cool 2.5D/3D platformer mix with a lot of puzzles and dozens of challenges.
basically like 10 seconds ninja but in 3D and a lot more content + puzzles to solve etc

 

That sounds good needforbleed, I'm going to make a idle game with the ui software that comes with the 2d pack.

 

Yeah that UI framework looks great too.
Looking forward to making some cool UIs with it

Ugh. Had my eyes on those assets for a while, was hoping to get them today to start testing them out :/

The unknown asset in 2D pack is gonna be 2DDL which is actually pretty cool. Still haven't gotten the mail yet though.

All I know is my company in California got emails this morning, because our IT guy came down and asked me what the deal was with these Accelerator Packs that he was getting emails about. Note, we are using Unity Pro, not Plus. Maybe that makes a difference, maybe Unity sent emails to Pro users today. I know I haven’t gotten an email for my personal Plus account.
