    Hey guys, just a quick little survey I wanted to conduct to see what kind of hardware setup fellow Unity users happen to be using.

    Because it's assumed that in order to run Unity standalone games you have to have a Pentium 4 CPU (which is ooold yet still capable of running more modern games like Portal 2, etc.). Therefore, I did not find it to be relevant. :p

    For reference, here's the Unity system requirements. No mention of processors is given there, and once again, if your computer is running Windows XP and is capable of at least Shader Model 2, there's an almost non-existant chance your CPU falls outside of this assumption.

    On topic, thanks for the information guys, I'll collect it all and make it into some helpful graphs after I get at least 50 replies to this thread.

    2019 was the year when Microsoft unveiled their famous touch-walls for schools and everything, augmented reality services for public places and personalized holographic directions in airports, just as they promised in their Visions of Future video back in the good old 2010s!

    *I have an onboard NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M and thanks to its Optimus feature I disabled it for developement and benchmark in the editor. This is very agressive but makes sure I take those limitations into account to get a much smoother and better-looking experience on standard laptops.

    I am finally getting used to the metro interface, so its fine in that regard. I will keep using it simply because its faster.
