With unity 2021.2.0, Json.NET 13.0.1 for Unity version 12 gave errors in the console so I had to remove it from the package registry and I imported the Json.NET 13.0.1 for Unity asset in the package manager. This is an upgrade to version 12. The console errors went away and the app will play. However, new errors now pop up. It looks like there is a conflict between 2 versions of the JSON package. However, in the project, it will not let me delete them. I can only do this in the package manager. So I was wondering how do I fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the JSON package and the same thing pops up.

GUID [6c694cfdc33ae264fb33e0cd1c7e25cf] for asset 'Packages/jillejr.newtonsoft.json-for-unity/Plugins/Newtonsoft.Json AOT/Newtonsoft.Json.dll' conflicts with:
    'Packages/com.unity.nuget.newtonsoft-json/Runtime/AOT/Newtonsoft.Json.dll' (current owner)
We can't assign a new GUID because the asset is in an immutable folder. The asset will be ignored.

Did you find a solution for this? I just installed 2021.2 and now I'm getting JsonNet conflicts, too.

Yeah you have to delete the package dependant on this. I think it is version control.
