Joint scaling from Maya

    Wow, I spent several hours today figuring out a workaround for how to import joint scaling from Maya into Unity. No animations would stick unless I created a "tween" keyframe in Maya right after the beginning frame. Translation imported with no problems, but scaling wouldn't stick unless I made a transitional keyframe at the beginning (frame 1 or 2). Is joint scaling an FBX no no? It's hard to describe this "glitch" and I'd be happy to send in an example.

    Can you bake the scale info into it?

    I use Cheetah 4.0 and the .jas .fbx brings
    the scaling in fine. I animate flowers growing.
    So I'm sure the scaling is working in .fbx

    The issue will be fixed in Unity 1.6.2

    Thanks Joe,

    I'm really curious if you've run into this before or not (it's a strange bug) . I hope this is a straightforward problem I ran into and not some weirdness that will always take some creative tweaking to work around. Thanks for the assurance that it will be fixed in 1.6.2.
