Welcome to the Job Offering forum.

This forum is a place where you can advertise paid open positions to potential employees and contractors. If you are looking for a job, you can browse this forum for suitable offerings.

To advertise yourself to potential employers, please use the Job Seeking forum.

If you are looking to recruit for or participate in non commercial projects, we have a forum for that as well.

Rules for posting and the usage of this forum:
    • The general Community Code of Conduct and the Unity Website & Communities Additional Terms apply.
    • The Job Offering forum is ONLY for opportunities with a guaranteed, known-value payment - contracts, salaried positions, and so on. Any position where the minimum dollar-value amount of pay can be agreed upon before the job begins.
      • This excludes positions that are based entirely on a share of game sales after the game is done, or any other position where payment for work is entirely subject to unpredictable outside factors (e.g. "you will only get paid if the demo gets picked up by a publisher"). If that is the kind of position you are looking to fill, then your thread belongs in the Non Commercial Collaboration forum.
    • This forum is not a place for discussions. Commenting on threads is disabled except for the thread starters. If you want to reach out to a thread starter, please contact them via the means described in their thread. If no other means are specified, you may contact them via the forum's Conversations system.
      • Thread starters may post one comment every 72 hours in their threads in order to bump them or to add more information.
      • Thread starters may edit their threads and posts to make corrections or to update them.
      • Thread starters may delete their own threads or posts.
    • Unity may remove threads that haven't been bumped or updated in more than 90 days.
    • Unity and any moderator/administrator of its systems are not responsible for resolving any conflicts as a result of contracted work.
    • If you find yourself in a conflict with an employer/employee, please resolve this in private.
    • If your post does not meet these requirements, they may be closed or deleted.
    • Don't mention prices and $-rates directly in your posts. Use private messages to discuss the financial details.
    • These rules are subject to change or amendment at any time.

    When posting here, please include;

    • The available positions
    • Job descriptions
    • Studio/Company/Team/Project info
    • Links to your website
    • A way to contact you
You can use this template for inspiration when creating a thread but there are no hard restrictions regarding the formatting.

Any department or persons of Unity Technologies are not responsible for:
    • Transactions or contracts formed between parties as a result of recruitment from Unity Communities
    • Resolving disputes on contracts or agreements formed as a result of recruitment from Unity Communities

Any contract work acquired on the forums is done entirely at your own risk. If you have a bad experience please try and resolve this issue with the relevant parties in private. If in doubt, contact your local attorney for legal advice.

    Here are a few tips:
    • If you want to use the forum's Conversations system to be contacted about your ad, please make sure that your account settings permit the reception of new conversations.
    • Do your research, Google, Linkedin, portfolio sites etc.
    • Check references, contact previous employers/employees for recommendations.
    • Have a video call.
    • Make a contract that is agreed on and signed by both parties, this goes both ways for employers and employees. Clearly state the asset(s) to be received/provided and consequences for not delivering on assets or payment. Include payment method and rate as well as content delivery method.
    • Never give full payment in advance.

If you have any questions, please contact any of the moderators.
