java.lang.Error: signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1 (SEGV_MAPERR)

    Since upgrading our game using Unity 2018.1 been getting a lot of crashes in the live environment with this error, and only on the Huawei phones:

    we have the same issue only in Huawei phones.

    Same here on Unity 2018.2.18f1. Mostly Samsung Galaxy devices like A5, J3, J7.

    Crashyltics shows that most of the crashes happened with "App in Background".

    Hi, Do you use any 3rd SDK such as Admob?

    It's happening probably because of poor Android Management.

    As stated by @mobadu that app is in background, which means when Android needs more memory, it kills the apps in background to free memory which is causing these crashes.

    I no longer have this issue, from what I recall it slowly resolved itself as players upgraded to newer version of Android. (without any new releases of my app)
