I've decided to keep my Pro license.

    Not because of the minor differences, like the skin or splash screen missing on standalone builds.

    Not because we might get some cookies from Level 11. (who doesn't like cookies? I certainly do.)

    Not because we get team license integrated (I actually needed it for myself, cause I'm a coding goofball)

    Not because of the royalty hook on Personal addition. (isn't really a factor, I'm not making any money)

    Not because I could use the money (ok, that's a lie, but it has already been spent on the upgrade)

    Not because we'll see some forum changes that help to support other Pro users.

    and.. Not because of an altruistic idea of game democratization.

    ....
    It's because.. ok, I lied, it is because of those things.

    I just wish the iOS/Android license schemes could have been adjusted for pro licensees... perhaps that was a problem with financing?

    Sure I'm keeping my pro license I just downloaded 200 dollars worth of stuff from Asset Store for free. Nice, huh? PBR models, speed tree and playmaker.

    OK we already had playmaker but I've got it twice now since one wasn't via asset store :p

    People can make silly savings on asset store. I hope Unity doesn't go out of business.

    I wanna grab that SpeedTree package... haha.

    I must have missed the PBR things... was it the grenades?

    Yeah!

    iOS / Android is free with pro features as well. You can mix all that stuff up.

    No worries. I will keep buying stuff at full price. ;)

    Hope you will still visit us at the Plebian forums. lol Someone else coined that name but I will miss all the pro users if the community splits.

    I read that they were just adding a filter for viewing Pro user posts. In a message board that type of filtering is not all that useful.
