Its possible to import 3d humanoid models into Unity?

    Hi,
    Its possible to import 3d humanoid models into Unity? i wonder if i will create a 3d humanoid model with "bones" (for moving hands, legs etc) in 3DS Max Studio i can import it to unity and work like here http://unity3d.com/unity/animation tutorial ?

    Can someon recommend some good tutorials for nevbie to create basic games like pong? Please specialist of unity :)
