it's as if environmental lighting is missing from build?

    Hi.

I've been working on a few different prototypes and I have the same issue in all of them. I'm using Unity 2021.2 (currently 17f). A couple of the projects I use the macOS editor and build one project for macOS and one for iOS. Another project uses the Windows editor and I build for UWP. Same issue in all of them. They all use URP.

This is what it looks like in editor, they way it should look.

Here's the build. Look at the trees.

If I turn the environment lighting intensity all the way to 0, I can pretty much get the same look in editor that I have in the builds with the intensity turned up.

I have a feeling I might simply be doing something wrong in these newer Unity versions. Or what is going on here? I just simply want the build to look the way I somehow managed to make it look like in editor.

Yes, I've obviously pressed the generate lighting button. I've also tried having the automatic generation on and I've tried using baked GI and also having both realtime and baked GI totally off. It's always the same result.

Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here before I go totally mental :(

I have similar issue (build is darker), and it seems to be that Unity ignores my environment lighting settings and changes them to the default values of the "Gradient" source option in environmental lighting just for the build.

I just use the colour option, so I even tried copy pasting the colour into every colour of the Gradient, but it still didn't change anything in the build- just seems to use the default.

Will this fix be merged into 2021 LTS?

I still have this issue in 2021.3.4f1. Anyone ever found a fix to this?

Try updating to the latest 2021.3 LTS build, and read through this chapter in the troubleshooting guide. If you'd still run into issues, please report a bug.
