    Excuse the click-bait title :)

    Yesterday I got home form the day job, and sat down to start to look at integrating some services (analytics, ads, etc) in to a new game I'm working on. Between the Facebook SDK, and Unity's new services I managed to get Analytics, Ads, and Facebook sharing set up before I went to bed (~ 4 hours). Although there were a couple of minor problems along the way (Android SDK didn't match minimum version for FB), it was a relatively painless process.

    Just 3-4 years ago this same stuff would take many days!

    So I just wanted to say thank you Unity, and maybe to remind people to appreciate what they are getting... for free...

    Yeah, I love how easy analytics and ads are to do now. Haven't tried Facebook lately, maybe I should give it another go.

    This is by far the biggest stump I need to deal with before releasing my game.

    The only complaints you'll hear me making is being too broke to buy pro.

    But, yes. This is very accurate.

    Not really. There are plenty of pro users that complain that there is not enough value add from pro. Or that Unity is not fixing their bug fast enough. Or...

    Just as there are plenty of useful contributing members on both free and pro.

    @BoredMormon

    Really it just reads better if I write "for free" than "for free, or for the price you are paying for Unity" :p
