    Hi guys,

I already did some decent game and publish it on google Play. Now I am Developing a new much better game and I was wondering if is it WORTH to publish it on Windows Store(ofc also on other stores).

I dont have any W8 tablet so I got to buy one. I have so Questions about W8 tablets?

    Can u it run Unity?
Can u actuelly develop on that(with mouse and keyboard attached)?
What u think about Windows Marketing?
When I have playable game for Andriod will be it easy to convert it on Windows?

Am I missing something here? Don't "modern" Windows tablets run the standard Windows 8, as opposed to Windows RT? In which case, wouldn't Windows games work on a Windows tablet? As I said, I'm probably missing something here, so please be nice while you're correcting me on that point!

Also, blastintyres, I suspect that English may not be bubak2000's first language. If I'm wrong, then I'll apologise, but it's worth remembering that forums can be accessed from all around the world!

A lot of tablets and other devices are windows RT,and a few tablets are windows. So a game made for windows RT can't run on windows and a game made for windows can't run on windows RT is a platform of I guess mobiles and devices who don't have beefed up hardware

You maybe right, english might not be his first language.I was just mentioning its hard to read what he types.

This would be a good time to point out that MS is actually doing a promo where they shower you with goodies if you release for them; such as ads, free devices, AS vouchers, and copies of Pro.

You can read about it HERE.

I think the downside is that you're likely to get less profit. But maaaaybe because it's a smaller store, you also have less competition... so your game has bigger chances of being noticed.

I'm not sure if Windows Phone Development is any different than Android (Coding Wise).
But if it's not, what's the issue with just porting it to Windows? I mean unless they charge you monthly fees to have assets on their store, why complain? It's an extra avenue to go down.

Not to mention you get more pennies per download than Iphone or Droid.
But that's obviously because the Market isn't as big and trying to attract devs.

But still, what's the harm in building Iphone, Droid and Windows?

But even the best games on windows store don't reach above 500,000 downloads A month
ON google play If you put a idiotic game with a good looking icon and screen shots I will reach above 500,000 in a month

    I tried it!
