It is now possible to use blender in VR

    It is now possible to use blender in VR ... using third party software.

    I've found a video describing the setup here:


    Now, this guy uses blender XR (hasn't been updated for a long time), but it is possible to do the same with blender 3.0.

    The idea is that you run blender, open vr view, and then use OVR Toolkit to bring blender window INTO the VR view. This way you can look at the scene and move around it, and when you need something, you can put down the controllers work in the window with mouse/keyboard. OVR Toolkit allows you to be in the scene with blender window in front of you, while changing that scene. So you could move the thing you're modifying to your right and then edit it, while glancing at it from time to time.

    It is pretty amazing, to be honest.
