I'm using the Online Maps tool, which produces a texture which displays the map, and the texture produced is running into some strange issues while trying to apply the texture to a UI element. First, when I create the texture, it complains that:

"Texture 'OnlineMaps' is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts. You can make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings."

But read/write is enabled in the import settings. Also, when I try to change the sprite mode to "single" and click "apply" (which is what their support team told me to do), it reverts back to "none". Any idea what's going on here?

    Resolved by the support team.

Turns out you have to switch it to a sprite, then switch it back to advanced, then read/write enable it again. Obviously.
