    Hello there,
I am working on this project and was looking for some characters and found this really cool rigged character on Turbosquid: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/eric-rigged-people-3d-1310834

    I opened this file:
and just pressed export and exported it to FBX.

The issue is that when I try to import this biped character from Max to Unity it shows this error message in Unity:
    1.PNG
Never really had this issue before so not sure what is the problem.. Would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. Thank you!

Did you try to manually configure? (Press the "configure..." button). Sometimes Mecanim can't figure out a model's avatar so you have to assign the bones to the right places yourself.

Try working with CAT rigs in 3ds Max next time. Much faster to work with and export is also better to Unity.
Check out some CAT tutorials on YouTube:

    Hi,
As the errors are displaying there you need to disable "triangle pelvis", that's a setting on the Biped structure:
    See this image,
    1) make sure biped is in Figure Mode.
    2) Uncheck Tirangle pelvis.
    3) export again.

    1) yes disable Uncheck Triangle pelvis,
    2) and enable Triangle Neck
