For some reason doesn't matter how much i mess around with the z of my object or even my camera, or the sorting layers, my wall won't appear in game infront of my map unless I change its actual layer to any of the default layers like 0-5. I'm confused, because someone said these layers aren't responsible for any kind of order/sorting of rendering but more however for collider collision. But in my case it's clearly altering my rendering order. How can I get my sorting layers to work properly again and how can I get my regular layers to stop being my "new" sorting layers? Anyone else ever run into this issue?
