Issue With Downloading Very Large Assets

As the title notes, downloading extremely large assets (3gb or more) results in me being unable to import them. I always get the "Failed to import package with error: Couldn't decompress package".

I'd purchased some 3d models and music and they both are over 4gb. Even upon extracting externally with 7-zip, I run into a CRC error (corrupted file).

I redownloaded the assets at least 5x a piece and installed the newest version of Unity to boot. For a test run, I downloaded a 800mb sound fx file and that imported fine.

Any ideas that can help me with this? I am on a wireless connection. I have a slight suspicion it might be a hiccup in the net, but given the nature of a TCP download I'm a hopeful it isn't my net since there would be no way around that.

What filesystem are you using? Maybe you're on a filesystem which cannot handle 2GB+ files?

So it seems like it fixed itself when I used a wired connection, which is unfortunate since it's very difficult for me to get wired with my current setup.

Sounds like you're getting a good amount of noise on your wireless.
