I upgraded to Unity 2022.2.1F1 a few days ago (followed by each version afterwards up until the current 2022.2.5F1) and noticed a very annoying issue. When using Mecanim, if I set a sprite under a sprite renderer, then play an animation for it, then STOP the animation, the sprite I set under the renderer will now have changed. And will not change back to the previous sprite unless I manually set it again. This can be reproduced infinitely. Is anyone else having this issue?
