I try to get a very very simple Unity => WebGL export working with transparent background on google chrome browser.

It works fine on Firefox but on Chrome the background is not transparent, it seems dirty and even flickers super fast (which is very very dangerous for people with epilepsy. If this triggers an epileptic seizure the user might die because of unity)

    See video:
(do not watch if fast changing images can trigger epilepsy)

The code for transparent background was taken from here:
    https://answers.unity.com/questions/1069255/embed-webgl-in-webpage-with-transparent-background.html

BUT, the issue remains even without transparent background. I removed everything related transparent background and build again and got this:

Seen on Chrome Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)

    Please help, thank you!

On the first video, the left part is in Firefox and is the desired result. The right/broken part is in chrome.
I did not test in any other browsers (so it could potentially be the same in opera, safari, edge)

Put a warning as the first thing shown in the game. Lots of things flicker in the real world, and people put warnings there too.

Saying that it could potentially kill someone in order to get attention is kind of a low blow. Lots of things can kill people.

Anyone with epilepsy knows the dangers of online content: from flash to webgl to any kind of creator content be it video game, video, gifs and more. Therefore this sensationalist thread is locked.

Please report a bug for the flickering case if you think it is an actual Unity bug and not from the code you pulled from the web

    Further information about epilipsy:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photosensitive_epilepsy
    https://www.epilepsy.org.uk/info
    https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/epilepsy/

The dangers of Epilepsy are real but ultimately looks like a user bug. Please file a bug report regardless just to be sure.
