Isometric Tilemap sorting issue

    Hi,

    I have checked many tutorials but none have such a simple issue. I have just a single Z as Y tilemap (Mode set to individual) and a single pallet with 3 tiles. When I paint, tiles randomly go over each other. I didn't change the Z when painting.

    Sort mode for pallet was as default:
    - Custom Axis
    - 0, 1, -0.25

    You can see the setting in photos.

    Unity 2022.1

    I am thinking of writing my own tilemap handler after a whole day of struggling. Any idea how to fix this?

    Hi, have you set the Custom Axis Sort values for your 2D Renderer Data for your Render Pipeline asset?

    This should be the same values as what you have set for your Tile Palette.

    Thank you. I forgot about URP 2D renderer. That fixed my issue.
