I have made the voxel models using VoxelShop (https://blackflux.com/node/11) and combined all parts with empty GameObjects inside Unity and animated it.

To answer your question: there is no video tutorial at the moment. If it helps i will create one.

    Cheers.

Good news to all developers: The new version 2.5.0 will contain C# code and a demo how to use it.

It is currently under pending review and should come available within the next few business days.

Open tasks in that new version are: Control Freak for C# and all the prefabs for C#. Everything else has been included.

So in fact, you will be able to choose between JS and C# as you like.

    Cheers.

C# code is now available. The open tasks (see above) will be included shortly.

    Hi dojoman,

The asset looks interesting, so is it using 3d characters now? and how do you handle animation is mecanim is supported?

Can you please elaborate more about the architecture of the pack?

    Thanks

Hi. The animations of the 3d characters are really simple and just made with the animation editor in Unity. There is no skeleton behind it, just the objects like legs and arms etc. I think the results are good even for this simple method to do it. Please see the video attached to the link above. Cheers.

    Hi @dojoman

I like the asset. I want to use it with 3d models. So is there a way to trigger animation clips like walk, shoot etc. Or just trigger animations that i attach to character via animaton or animation controller component.

Or any other way to trigger animation based on user movement, on screen clicks to shoot etc.

Would be cool to have this feature.

Sorry i saw the voxel edition, but is there a tutorial / documentation to setup the 3d character with animations.

I am still learning unity. So a tutorial would be helpfull.

Hi. Thanks for your message. The 3d animation control is really simple. You set up an animation e. g. for walking and then you add the AnimateOnVelocity script to the respective body part and configure the animation clip for walking and one for idle. That's it.

Somehow the page has been deleted, but i am not sure how. The delete logs do not contain sufficient information.

I am sorry for the inconvenience and will revive the docs asap.

New docs have been submitted to Unity and are currently under approval.

Here is the reason why the old docs were removed: They had been provided via MediaWiki where i missed the info about a security issue inside the MediaWiki itself and the therefor deactivated contents. So, i am sorry for that! Good news is, that i renewed the docs and sent them to Unity besides upgrading the Isometric Shooter package to the latest Unity version.

Obviously UnityScript is not longer supported. So i have to remove all js-Files and rebuild all demo scenes for the main asset and all add-ons with c# and re-upload again. Holy cow.

Is mobile support included out of the box?

Saw the 2014 video on mobile support. Is it still working. Can i just have one button for movement instead of 2?

Purchased the asset. Couldnt find the documentation helpfulll on adding my own characters and customising level settings

Dropped you an email as well.

    Can you please help
