    Hi Dears,
not sure if Unity3d (or new 2d) is good for eBooks apps (mainly images like magazine)?
Does anybody know if there are any good EBooks apps
    made of Unity3d?
    Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that Unity is probably overkill for writing an e-book app. Can you explain why you're thinking of it?

I'm thinking of it because unity support more platforms. I used to thinking about adobe flash/director but they don't support as many platforms as unity does. Also I think unity might be better on performance.

Ok, well I don't know of any e-book readers built in Unity, but the new GUI is a great fit for your needs. Reading a format like XML and converting it into Unity GUI elements is pretty much the whole of your application, so shouldn't be too hard to tackle.

    Good luck :)

Overkill? Quite possibly. But the number of platforms supported helps. Although if you don't need to do anything special other than static text/images and changing pages, you might as well go with epub. If you're going to make a moving book with more than just text, there might be video options in some modern formats too, but Unity lets you do quite a bit more, including interactivity.

Maybe is simpler with other game engines, like Stencyl or Gamesalad.
