Is Unity Standard Assets been deprecated?

    Last night I was fiddling around with Unity Standard Assets as I was getting back on developing games for Unity again. But when I tried to search it up again on the Asset Store for reimport, I cannot find it anymore?

    Can anyone from Unity confirm in regards with this matter?

    yes it's deprecated, i hope the unity team can make another pack upload_2020-3-28_23-3-46.png

    Oh no that's too bad. I was surprised about this thought it was only me having the problem. Yes, same here hope they make another package since majority of what I learned and used to use belongs to that package.

    The education team are working on a new set of Standard Assets. I just really wish they would release the new set before removing the old ones. They're really useful for early prototyping, even if you have to untangle them a bit.

    I ran into this problem the other day and got what I needed via the Download Archive.

    If you select Unity 2017 you can download Standard Assets from there and it includes all the assets you used to be able to get via the Import menu within Unity.
