Question Is this behavior achievable with Cinemachine ?

    Hi !

    I'm trying to make my camera behave something like in this game:


    Having it follow the player and kind of 'anticipate' the next position so it's always behind and it feels very natural.

    I've tried all the possible combinations I could think of; about to give up - I just wanted to know if it was in fact feasible with CM or I have just lost my time.

    Any CM Guru's feedback welcome ! Thank you !

    That's a long video. Do you have any specific questions?

    Sorry; I was referring to the 'main' camera behavior; how nicely it goes behind the player but more importantly how it always goes behind the player even when the player goes towards the camera; might be more visible here:

    That's easy with CM. Use a FreeLook with Simple Follow binding mode. Take a look at the Free Look Character sample scene.

    Thanks will do ... where's the sample scene ? it's not in the package itself, it's been taken outside ?

    You can download the sample scenes from the package manager. Click on Cinemachine and you will see in the pane on the right a way to download the samples.
