    Hey,

I have avoided this community just because of the objective criticism/Trolling/what ever you want to call it.

I love unity as a tool but hate the collaboration section of this site.

Lukasaurus, if by jab you mean insult, I would. But it won't be a good idea.

Are you still working on your MMO (Supremacy), which you started on two years ago, or Monsters, Gods and Mortals?. If not, why not?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, because you've probably realised something in the last two years.

Not working on any of those...

Yep I have realized the following -

    1. Do not follow a person with delusions of grandeur... Always ends in failure and someone getting hurt when you try to leave the team (Supremacy)
    2. Do not contact a publisher or anyone of the sort until you have at least a tech demo to show... (Monsters, Gods, Mortals)
    3. Start small and work with Flexible programming languages. Like C# and UScript. (Current Project)
    4. Quality art work is good art work. (Current Project)
    5. Get Quality people to work on your project. Get to know them. Look at their portfolio. (Current Project)
    6. Start Small (Current Project)

Nope. Most of the collaboration forum won't listen to reason. You aren't alone :)

I listened to reason after 2 Years :)

I am *just* finding several things out that may tip the favor in me actually making a very cool** but simple game.

** My definition of cool may or may not be your definition of cool.

    This.
I feel it is the duty of the more experienced part of the community to help the noobs understand how to approach things correctly regarding new projects.
We after all are a community here to help each other.

This thread has deteriorated to the point where it's time to close.

Regarding the Collaboration section I'll repeat the same sentence I always do 'If you aren't interested in a project, and can't offer anything to the OP, then just leave the thread alone.' It's the community posting on threads that keeps them alive. If a thread gets zero interest then it's up the OP to work out why.
