Is there any feature in Unity like the "Timeline" feature in Game Maker 1.4/2.0?

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read this question. I've recently switched over from Game Maker 1.4 to Unity, and ran into this dilemma in Unity. I want to instantiate objects in tune to music, and in Game Maker, I took care of this by making a timeline, and setting steps to create these objects after a number of frames since the start of the timeline. These steps occur in tune with the background music of the game; its not a fixed number of frames between each step every time. I could set individual timers for each and every instantiation, but that seems very monotonous and inefficient, so something like a timeline in Unity would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

aaaaaaand i think i just won the award for the worlds biggest dumbass. I thought Unity's Timeline was just for graphics, but I just didn't read good enough. Thanks, and nice animation ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)!
