I am contemplating releasing a game ive built on a site like kongregate, I am finding out that I am very unsure where to start working out how to save from a web build. I know that you can not save files to the computer system that way. My other thought would be if i set up a cookie to save it in using java script possibly? Not sure if that would work out not though. Could someone give me a direction to look in to work out how i can set up a save for a web build ? thanks!

Kongregate has its own API to store data on their servers. I'm not familiar with how specifically to do it, but I'm aware that they have it.

Sure, but what's wrong with that? It's stored in a cookie like file.
