Is there a quick way to iterate with Holo Lens development and Unity?

    It seems to take forever and a day to Build and Deploy to HoloLens. I don't know why, but its super slow whether I go direct to device, remote machine, etc. Does anyone know of a way to iterate directly within Unity? The emulator is just as slow as the device when it comes to pushing a build.

    In Unity you can use Holographic Simulation which doesn't require building anything. Under Window in the menu bar, enable Holographic Emulation which will give you a new Unity tab that lets you set this up. There should be 3 options in it for Emulation mode (simulate in editor or Remote to device), Room (SR mesh to use), and Gesture Hand to simulate. With that working you can just use a Xbox controller hooked up to your PC and then you navigate using the Xbox controller inside the Game view.
