Is there a program that makes N64 style music?

    I'm just wondering, because I might be using that kind of music for my next game and I would like to know if there is a (free) program to make music that sounds like something on the N64.

    I don't think so. I'd say get some cash to buy FL Studio or Magix Music Maker or find a composer. #N64FTW

    Ok, thanks anyway, I've got a little program called MuLab it'll probably do the job fine.

    N64 music was mostly a result of compression and custom code because the N64 doesn't really have dedicated hardware for sound, so it was up to the developers. Therefore there is no way to emulate N64 music, as it's just code. It's just down to the musicians skill.

    Just get a daw and various vsti's to help you out
