Slightly confusing title. :p Is the HTML file generated for Streaming Web Players different from the one generated by not-streaming web players? Because on Unicade I have made a web player file that uses data from the MySQL database to determine things about the player, such as size, and where to load the unityweb/unity3d file from. Also stored in the db is whether its a Unity 1.x or Unity 2.x game, and then chooses how to load the file (the unity 1 way or the Unity 2 way) through an if/else. I set my latest game, which is compiled as streaming, to version 2 in the mySQL and it just sits there loading forever.

You could uh... generate one of each and look at them.
