Is the latency good enough for a real-time multiplayer arcade-style battle game?

    I'm investigating Unity's support for multiplayer networking for a real-time arcade-style battle game, where very low latency is needed. It's not quite Street Fighter in terms of the need for super low latency, but close. Is this kind of networking performance possible? (The focus is on PCs and consoles, not mobiles.)
