Is the deterministic asset bundle option obsolete?

    The documentation for 'BuildAssetBundleOptions.DeterministicAssetBundle' has a paragraph of text describing how the option works including pros and cons.

    Underneath this paragraph there is an additional note that "This feature is always enabled."

    Can someone please clarify what this means? Does it mean that there is no way to disable this functionality?
    It's weird to give reasons not to use a feature (slower, potentially more hash collisions), but then state that you have to use it...

    I agree. I am a bit confused myself too. Can anyone clear this up?

    It's a bit of a mess, but yes, it's enabled permanently - the option has no effect.
