    Hello there.

Is the Asset Store also supported for South America ?
I live in a country called Suriname, which is in the uppermost northern part of South America.
Now let's say I wanted to submit something to the Unity Asset Store so people can buy my assets.
Is that also supported for my country ?

It's supported anywhere in which there's internet.

a regular bank account but i think you would not be able to receive paypal payments on your country.. maybe a check or wire transfer to your bank account directly

So Unity is going to send the check for me or do the wire transfer for me by themselves ?

They only send a check if you're in the U.S.; it's PayPal everywhere else.

if its paypal only for everywhere else, i think you are out of luck because your country its not covered by paypal...so i guess you would not be able to get paid..

im not sure, maybe, depending on unity´s policies.. remember that wired transfers cost alot, even if unity would agree to wire transfer your money the costs of the wire transfer would cut your revenue.

unity takes 30% of the sales and you need to gather a minimum of $250 dollars in sales after the 30% cut, and then paying the wire transfer and your local bank fees, you would feel robbed at the end of the day, even paypal charge you 4% to receive the money.

the asset store cuts are done every quarter, and you get paid aprox 1 month after the end of the last quarter

you have to think about it very well before you do anything, because gathering 250 dollars selling 5 dollar products is a bit hard as in reality the asset store is not a gold mine and you will not be overflowing with tons of sales, you may have to wait 6 to 9 months to receive any money

to get the definitive answer you need to email assetstore@unity3d.com with your problem and kill that doubt once and for all

What about Western Union Money Transfer ?
Has Unity already considered that ?
