I may have asked this a year ago, but checking in to see if anyone knows if this has changed.

I've been salivating at the prospect of building our own worlds and streaming our PC desktop in there, just like Virtual Desktop and its Environments. I'd love to design my own virtual office, basically as an actual practical day-to-day use of VR for fun.

Is there any plug-n-play way to get our PC desktops to stream onto a texture in our Unity VR projects yet?

Or has anyone effectively been able to see their Desktop within any VR app via the new mixed reality features of Meta Quest Pro?

If not, it would be great if Virtual Desktop had an ability to import your own environments, if anyone knows the developer, but ideally, streaming the desktop to a texture (especially if the game is already running via PCVR) as an innate feature for developing Unity VR for any project would be amazing.

I googled "unity vr see desktop" and got this as second result: https://forum.unity.com/threads/vr-desktop-mirror-asset-x-windows-and-htc-vive.406662/

Also, virtual desktop has a discord. Probably quite easy to make feature requests or talk to the dev
