I've been making a game for about a year, and I was producing animations drawing frame by frame. However, I found that skeletal animation can greatly facilitate my progress with large characters. But apparently the package manager was only added in the 2017 version, which is exclusively for 64-bit systems.

Is there a way to import this package into my version 5.6.6f2, or do I have to use frame by frame animation until the end?

Thanks in advance for your help and have a nice day.

    Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The whole Package Manager system will not be backported to Unity 5.6, so the only way for this to work is if you upgrade your project to later versions of Unity.

If you want to request this feature to be backported to 5.6, you should ask in the Skeletal Animation forum :)

Thanks for the answer. I'm using an external animation technique now.
I am not going to bother developers with changing such an old version.
