    Hi everybody,

I developed a game with a friend, and we want to use unity ads solution.
In order to equally share any earning, we would like to both create a Unity Ads account, and add our game to both accounts.

Then we would alternatively display ads with his ID, and with mine.

Does somebody know if it is legal/authorized by Unity?

I guess we are not the first indie developers to think about that solution.

    Thanks a lot!

If you are considering a case where you will manually initialize Ads (by calling Advertisement.Initialize() in code) with different game ids based on some "round robin" approach, you can do this. However we cannot guarantee that the revenue will be split equally.

Note however that you can only initialize with one game id per game session.

Thank you for this quick answer!

By game session, do you mean until the application is killed?
    That is good to know.
    Thanks for the support!

Correct, until the application/process is killed

I think you would have an easier life just using one Game ID and split the revenue afterwards. Most probably you will end up with different amounts of revenue when using two Unity Ads accounts because not every ad display generates equal revenue.

Thanks, that was the first idea, but it depends how much we earn with our games.
If we talk about 10$, then splitting is alright.
But if we have the luck of making 1000$ for example, I am not sure it is legal for someone to just "give" 500$ to someone else.
We just do that on our spare time, no company or whatsoever.
Thanks for the info, we'll think about it!
