Is it possible to have "darker areas"?

This might sound amateurish and if it's the case, sorry! There's sill some things here and there I have to learn with Unity. ^^

I want to have a map which is a ocean with islands and a volcano. The volcano has a cave and the ocean has underwater areas. I would like to make everything that's underwater be darker, which gets even darker when going deeper. Same with the cave, it should be really dark, only lit by lava or torches. Is this possible?

It could be like something that weakens the Directional Light but not completely blocks it like a shadow. As well as having different environmental lighting settings in certain areas.

Hi, I think an easy way is to use local (post-processing) volume to apply different post-processing effects.
