Is it possible to drag only one mesh from the imported model?

Is it? I have one model that has many different meshes inside of it, they share the same material so I prefer to do this way, but when I expand the content of the model and I try to drag only one mesh the entire model comes together to the scene. There is a way of doing it without having to instantiate the entire model and then deleting? It would be nice.

Are they actually separate meshes? I have no issue dragging only one mesh into the scene, if the meshes in the file are separate. If they are submeshes, then they are part of one mesh.

Hi Eric, thanks for replying me!

So, I have this model right here:

If I try to drag only the "exit_geo" for example, all the other meshes from the "room_tiles" comes together to the scene.

It doesn't sound like you're dragging in the actual mesh (the icon with the lines, not the prefab-like icon).

Indeed, if you drag the object (the box icon), it will bring the parent and all the other files with it. If you drag the mesh, it will just add the mesh only.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay! You were right, it's possible by dragging the mesh, but one thing that annoys me is that it goes without its default textures and materials, actually it goes to the scene without any material (flat pink). Also, It's kinda weird, I mean if you drag the top parent you will instantiate the entire model, ok, but if you drag the child you also drag the entire model and not only that one you really clicked, why this? So if I need one child of a model I need to drag the entire model and and delete the other meshes or drag the mesh and find the right materials of it and assign to the mesh? That's weird.
