Is it possible to build a VR television studio

    ...with fully functional props, desks, tickers, graphics, TV screens, teleprompters, green screen and a camera capable of outputting in 2D to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. I think a utility as such would not only sell well, but would become a social/media staple.

    Yes, it's certainly possible. But if you're going to try to make it very much like the real world... well, you could do that easier, cheaper, and better by just using the real world.

    So what advantages would you see in doing this in VR?

    Permanence. An app like this on a standalone device would be much more accessible to everyone.
