Is It Important to Register Indie game studio ?

    Hello Everyone,
    I am New to the forum...I just make new Game, published it on playstore...Now , I looking forward to go Big. I wanted to start one person indie game studio . Since, I am not making any profit out of it yet, I just wanted to ask, Is it important to Register studio name ?( I am from india )

    When you say register the name, what do you mean? A copyright? A registered business? A trademark?

    I don't know anything about the law in India. Here in the USA, it usually makes sense to register small businesses as an LLC. But even that varies from one state to another within the USA. Your best bet is to ask a lawyer for advice on the topic.

    Yes we all plan go big... my advice.

    Get big first and handle being big issues later on.

    SImply comply with your country regulations in order to keep your activity administration in the legal zone and focus on making cash.

    Once you make cash copyright your game names etc...

    Ideally you want to register your company before you start doing any contracts or agreements.
