    I haven't updated Unity since 5.4.0f3 for Hololens development. I'm curious now with 5.4.1p3 out, is that what everyone's using?

    Also, is VS2015 Update 3 now working correctly? I know it was causing issues when it first came out.

    I don't really want to use beta 5.5 if I don't have to - I'd rather get on a production release. Will 5.4.1p3 work? What about Visual Studio 2015 Update 3? Are the issues with using it resolved?

    Unless there's a special HoloLens Tech Preview build for 5.4.1p3 I doubt it. The mainline integration is only happening in 5.5 isn't it?

    HoloLens has integrated into the 5.5 betas, you can download those betas for updates and fixes for the HoloLens.

    some random issues i ran into using 5.4.0b24 seem to disappear once i switched to 5.4.0f1

    upon building scenes, the cursor would be randomly missing. I blame my own inexperience foremost, but 5 fresh starts +builds+deploy getting the same random (oxymoron?) results. then after updating, repeating the same build and getting no errors on first try, so i'm not 100% sure.. I was working through holographic academy 210 - gaze.

    i upgraded to VS2015 update3 as well and encountered no issues with any of my dev environments. all is well!

    The beta builds were getting new features and fixes along the way, so it is possible that something was broke in 5.4.0b24 that got fixed in the 5.4.0f1. If you would like, you can update to the latest 5.5 beta to see some of the latest features for the HoloLens.

    555 has issues as do ALL Beta's...
    543 is looking great...
    MSVS 2015/3 is smooth
    HoloTool Kit file names do not match the HoloAcademy tutorials... Sucks...
    All research says use "HoloLens Input Module" on the event system /UI... Can't find hide nor hair... Sucks...

    HoloLens Input Module is a component you add to the event system, click add component and type hololens in the search bar to quickly find it.
    Let us know if you have trouble finding it.
