Question Is data stored in Application.persistentDataPath automatically deleted when uninstalling the app?

I know that it is public, so users could go in and delete it themselves, but I'd rather them not have to. And I am curious how this is handled for both iOS and Android.

 

That's a good question... for iOS AFAIK it's gone. Same with Android... BUT... usually Android backups will kick in... they take like a day, but then they will back that game data up unless you disable that feature.

As for other targets, no idea. For Win/Mac I imagine you could print out what the persistent path is and reason about if it is connected to the installed software or not.

For web I imagine it's just browser data because you never really uninstall the thing, you just leave the webpage and go elsewhere...
