Starting in Visual Studio 2017, VSTU is now built into Visual Studio 2017 (I know, redundant naming scheme...). This can be accessed by:

However, after updating to Unity 2018.1f02, and updated Visual Studio 2017 to v15.7.0, I'm now seeing this error:

(In case image is down, the error message says: "The type initializer for 'System.Reactive.Linq.Observable' threw an exception." This is also for Google spiders to actually start caching this thread...)

Attempting to attach VS2017 to Unity 2018.1 will fail. So, does anyone know how to resolve this?

FYI we just tracked this down to having the BitBucket VisualStudio extension installed. In our case, simply disabling the BitBucket extension and restarting Visual Studio resolved the problem

I'll look into this once I get home.
