Is anyone else unable to cancel their Unity Subscription?

After following the steps listed here, I am unable to finish the process of canceling my subscription since access to the "Manage Subscription" page seems to be blocked. I have tried on PC with Chrome + Edge and on iPhone with Safari.

I have created a ticket with the Unity Support team, but the response time could take up to 14 days. In which case, I'm expecting to be fined if I cancel the renewed annual subscription plan.

Can anyone provide a workaround to get out of this situation?

If you get fined they'll refund you since you've already filed a support ticket. I know that may seem like little comfort, but it'll get done.

manage subs. page works for me (firefox, but unlikely that its browser issue, based on that error screen)

I installed FireFox but also does not work for me. I'm confused now..
I will try with a different computer later and let you know if it worked.

 

Hmm the page works for me as well. Maybe try to revoke the seat first?

 

Tested from home now from a PC Edge, Chrome and Firefox, and from a Macbook Safari but none worked.

Okay, I revoked the seat but it still doesn't work for me. Do you have a Unity Plus subscription?
In case this is account related, I'm wondering what it could be..

 

yes, plus (tested another account that has pro, works there also)

while waiting for support,
check browser console for any errors that might be related? (F12 in most browsers, then console or network tab)

or maybe try with vpn connection?

seems that cannot remove payment method either, it requires one always assigned apparently..(?)

 

Update: The Unity Support team reached out very quickly and have canceled my Unity Plus subscription for me. So all is good now!

Even though I still don't understand why the webpage was unreachable from my account, I'm satisfied by how they handled the situation.

 

All's well ends well. Such a great outcome for people surely increases trust that Unity will do the right thing by their customers.
